First let me say as mentioned in the previous article I have never used a game camera before and I am really impressed with the results of the cameras. The major weaknesses that I see of the camera is that if the game is moving in front of the camera the pictures are blurry and the deer at night are very aware that the camera is there. I may not be using it correctly as far as the blurry pictures and I will do some additional research to make sure that I have them set up correctly. I set up the camera while we built the deer stands on the south Texas ranch. We were moving around alot on the property, we had 15 people on the 5800 acres moving around, driving trucks etc.. As this was our first year hunting the property we were building deer stands and cutting shooting lanes. In addition there was a company running a 20″ gas pipeline property. Continue reading

Just got into work after a wonderful experience last night. Got home, ate dinner and the power went out. For those of you who know me I have two young daughters at home. I was really unprepared to lose power. Not only did I not have what I needed just to do some basic functions but my kids always sleep with a night light on.
